TOP STORIES Non-local dies, girl from Handwara injured in stone hurling incident | KNO Published 314 weeks ago on May 07, 2018 By KashmirNewsObserver A non-local from Chennai died and a girl from Handwara was injured after they came under stone pelting on Srinagar-Gulmarg road near Narbal on Monday. Police sources told GNS that some vehicles came under stone pelting, resulting into injuries to two of them who were referred to SKIMS Soura for treatment. One of them identified as Thirumani (22) son of Rajwali of Chennai succumbed to injuries. The injured girl has been identified as Sabreena (19) from Handwara. A senior Police official told Global News Service (GNS) that these persons came under pelting. "We have registered a case under FIR Number 57/2018 u/s 148, 247, 307, 336 RPC in Police Station Magam and investigations into it has been initiated and culprits involved into the incident will be nabbed soon," the officer said.
